1 month mommy

Well, today is Emery's one month birthday. I cant believe how fast the time has gone, and it seems like years that we've been doing this! Life has dramatically changed. Did someone turn up the volume and put everything on fast forward suddenly? I feel like Ive been going 100 miles an hour for this entire month. Its been busy, dramatic, emotional, exciting, and yes, fun. We will see how things progress - what with limited sleep and all. I'm sure there are many more ups and downs to come!

Ive written like 100 blog posts this past month, and none of them have made it to the nets. Ive been questioning why I blog - when I have such limited time - is it really worth it - and then I get excited thinking about a new topic to write about. I'm a recovering obsessive journaller. Its like I have this urge to record stuff - if its not written down - it may have never happened, and it will get lost in history, or something. Also its a way to organize and smooth out my thoughts. So those are my reasons. Then, I think - I should make my blog based on a topic - rather than scattered all over the hemisphere. But I just can't. And if I loose many readers, well, perhaps its for the better! Though I do think this blog will be more and more about the art of homemaking, rather than architecture in the next few months. But we'll see how things go.

Anyways, life is a whirlwind, and right now if I get a couple minutes to check in, I'll do my best to make the most of it! And if I am slightly incoherent, please understand - Im going on minimal sleep here! (I do mean well - really, I do...)

Congratulations! One month old already, how unbelievable. What is like compared to your older son? How is going so far being mommy of two kids now?

Can't wait to read and hear more!
Best of luck and hope you're well.

I hope you don't really consider quitting blogging!! Yours is one of my favourites. It's the one I check at 4 in the morning when I'm waiting for baby to get tired again.

yes, yes, I just say F@#% IT ! ha ha, well yes, I do in my head. I think I have lost all my readers except my grampa and my mom and dad, but yet I press onward with in coherent, wordless posts, just sharing a bit before my brains dies from memory overload. So just open the window stick out your head and yell F... it silently as loud as you can, it is very therepuetic... Hope you are doing good, considering...
