And now more about architecture... I work three days a week as an intern architect. I design all sorts of things, but of course there are some things that really inspire me and I hope one day I will be able to design, or work on, or some how be involved with...

I got into architecture because I though it would be a good way to help make the world more beautiful...hopefully I am helping with that. Right now, its a really great day job...

Anyways, I thought I'd keep posting stuff on here about cool projects I see so that I can keep myself in check and store them somewhere that I'll actually be able to find them, also maybe it can be a resource for some friends out there with less access to architectural stuff...

To start, I am a big fan of the cabin genre...Its my hippie blood from living on vancouver island too long... but here are a couple inspirational vignettes...

Myself, I am a fan of the cottage genre, much like the cabin, but more in a cluster and slightly less rugged. Maybe one day you can design me a cottage, where I can have some chickens and a cow named Millicent, and a strawberry patch. Then I will never need anything again!

no problem...I like that idea too. Im not so fond of being isolated for very long periods of time..the russian dacha village appeals to me...speaking of which I'll make a post...
