Soul Therapy

OK,this is a crazy idea, but I gotta do it, and here I am telling you all about it.

I want to offer this thing for my friends and family...and their friends and family. Sensing the need for including spirituality on our lives, and not really knowing how to do it, I came up with this. Its like in-home massage, but for the soul....and its free. I have tried to do this in my home, but many people have a hard time getting out, especially with kids. This way I can do it on my schedule, and get a chance to get out a see people, and not have to have a weekly event. Also, I know this would be a great service to many people. We'll see how it goes. Let me know what you think. I'll be starting taking appointments next January, when exams are done. Im going to make cards, this is what they will say:

SOUL THERAPY

In-home Prayer and Meditation Service

offering half an hour of prepared or customized

selections from sacred writings of various religions.

Possible topics can include:

healing, for the departed, families, unity,

aid and assistance, spiritual growth, or your choice.

available by appointment, call ###-####

Service is free of charge, or by donation.

I will come with a basket of little goodies like candles, inscence, a little mat, some readings, maybe some music, and anything else I can think of to make it nice. Then we lay it all out, say some prayers and readings together, and bask in the nutrition of the soul, and then I go home.

Should be very nice.

I would love it if others like the idea so much they make their own basket and offer this for their friends too. It would be like spiritual multi-level marketing...

The need for a feeling of closeness, of community and of breaking down the barriers of religious difference is pressing on me, and this is my attempt to address it. Let me know what you think.
