slow home

I want to put a link to a website of a local architect and a professer of mine. He has been working hard at promoting architecture to the layman and people who may not feel they have enough money to hire an architect, but are interested in good design. I'll link up the page here, but in the future if I see something interesting I'll post somthing about it. The site is called slow home. I think the above project is a pretty nice example of urban dense multifamily housing...

Hi Angela, I just discovered your blog and I find it so interesting! You seem to be interested in the same things I am! Have you read anything by Christopher Alexander? As far as I am concerned he is The Man in terms of architecture and community planning. he's written lots of books but I think the best one is called A Pattern language.
Nice to "see" you again! :-)
